As a world leader in product for the photoacoustic market short prototype development cycles are a must to maintain our competitive edge. Additive manufacturing is a new and uniquely suited technique to rapidly develop and test a series of prototypes. However, these new technologies come with their own required set of skills and can pose challenges to the novice user. We are glad to have partnered with Kason Knight of I-Solids to help us design a MolecolUS Frame that can be printed with a high set of tolerances required for an electronic housing despite its large size that stretched the limit of the capabilities of the printer. It is great to have a local partner with complementary expertise to speed up the development and avoid potential costly mistakes.
